Frequently Asked Question

What does DWC International Resources actually do?

DWC is a business group supporting Nigerian MSMEs across four areas: corporate compliance (CAC registration, annual returns, tax, SCUML and AML), ethical capital through EthCap™, business development and Islamic finance advisory, and travel services through GATTS. Most clients start with one service and grow into others as their business develops — a company we register today often returns for compliance filings, and later for capital.

Do I need to be a registered business to work with DWC?

Not to start a conversation. If your business isn't yet registered, that's usually the first thing we help with — CAC registration is one of our core services. Some services, including EthCap capital, do require formal registration, and we'll tell you clearly upfront which stage you need to reach.

Is EthCap really interest-free?

Yes. EthCap is built on interest-free, Shariah-compliant capital rather than conventional interest-bearing lending, and every arrangement is reviewed by our Ethical Compliance & Assessment Panel. Applicants of all faiths are welcome — the ethical framework is about how the capital is structured, not who may apply.

How long do compliance filings take?

It depends on the service and on the Corporate Affairs Commission's own processing times, which vary. [DWC to confirm indicative ranges — e.g. business name registration typically X days, annual returns typically Y.] We'll give you a realistic timeline at the outset rather than an optimistic one, and we'll tell you if anything changes.

What does it cost?

Fees depend on the service, your company type and what's already in place. [DWC to confirm whether indicative ranges can be published.] We quote before any work begins — you won't be asked to commit to anything without knowing the cost first.

Where is DWC based, and can you work with businesses outside Ogun State?

Our office is at DWCIR Ville, Road 2, Liberty Estate, Magboro, Ogun State. Most of what we do — compliance filings, advisory, EthCap applications — is handled remotely, so we work with businesses across Nigeria.
